When & Where

This year’s Leetspeak will be held on the 4th of October in Gothenburg! “Why?” you ask. Well, because the community has spoken! Leetspeak is not just a conference, but a concept; a gathering for hungry developers and a place for the community to meet and interact. We had trouble making up our minds about where to host the third Leetspeak so we decided to ask the community - and it spoke!

Let’s Talk Leetspeak

Leetspeak is a conference born out of the desire to bring inspiring, hardcore technical content to those who need (and want) to know. Launched in 2012 by the dedicated knowledge-based company, tretton37, it’s an event that is aimed at developers who are eager to stay at the forefront of the knowledge game, with a spotlight on the .NET developer who knows there’s honey to be had beyond the domain framework. Community is a cornerstone of the tretton37 mentality. Leetspeak is another way by which the company is able to reach out to fellow developers who want to connect and learn from others in the region and beyond.

What To Expect

Leetspeak is aimed at developers who are proud of their craft and are always on the lookout for ways to improve. The theme for Leetspeak this year is “More Than Code, Less Than Unicorns”. There will be content for web developers, .NET developers, other types of developers and for anyone else who is seeking to learn something new. Those attending Leetspeak can expect a few things: predominantly, the sessions will provide ideas and tools that can be used in a developer’s daily work. You will learn from speakers who are masters in their fields, and meet new people who share your passion.

More Than Code, Less Than Unicorns

Delivering high quality software is not magic, but it requires skills other than just coding. We, as developers, spend time on activities that surround the writing of the code itself and need knowledge about patterns, architecture, testing, development environments and much more in order to successfully deliver professional software.

This is why we want to dedicate this years’ Leetspeak to exploring what - apart from great code - goes into high quality software? And, no, it’s not magic!
